Lillian "Lily" Conners

My life seemed fairly normal until that fateful night. I was walking hand and hand with my husband down Bourbon Street in New Orleans. It was our honeymoon trip that had taken us months to plan right along with our wedding that was a few hours prior to. It felt as if nothing could ever stop us, but that was all about to change.Upon turning onto Bourbon Street during our stroll, I had this unnerving feeling that someone was following us. After the fifth time of stopping to look behind us, my husband had spoken up to me."Lily-bug, there is no one behind us. Besides we are almost back to our hotel room. Not to mention I won't let anything happen to you."After he had placed a reassuring kiss upon my check, they finally made it back to their hotel room."How about you just sit there and let me change into something other than these jeans and t-shirt."With that said, he had nodded his head while taking a seat on the edge of the bed. As I had closed the bathroom door before starting to slip into the satin night gown that I had bought a couple of days ago. Once I had slipped it over my body, I heard several loud crashing noises. Along with what sounded like my husband telling me to stay there. That was when I heard the hotel door being kicked in as two maybe three guys were talking and fighting whatever it was that was in their with my husband. Once everything went silent, I had slipped my robe on, unlocked the door, and opened it up to see my husband laying there dead. Along with a decapitated body next to him."Are you alright, ma'am?"I was brought out of my dazed stupor by the sound of an older man's voice. Looking up to see a bearded guy with a trucker's hat on looking towards me."Y-Yes. What is going on? What happened to Mark? Who is that on the floor? And who the hell are you?""The name is Bobby Singer. I am sorry for your loss, ma'am. The body next to him? It is more of a what than a who.""No. He can't be dead. And what do you mean by a what, Mr. Singer?""It was a vampire. Two other guys and myself have been tracking it down. they are downstairs taking care of things as we speak. You should head home, and please forget this ever happened."Nodding my head slowly as I had heard his words. As he had left the room leaving me standing there confused as to what had just transpired in the past thirty minutes.{Months Later after the death of Mark}Sure I had told the guy I was going to forget about what all had happened. And I guess he figured that I wouldn't drop it, since he did leave his card with his information on it on the dresser by the door when he left on that horrible night. Sitting in the front seat of my car staring up at the gentleman's house debating on if I should take that leap. Hell, I had done so much research on vampires since that night that it was borderline obsessive on wanting to find out how to survive knowing there are other things out there. That was when I heard a tap on my driver's side window."Either you are lost, or you found the card that I had left you one. How about you come on inside, and I will do my best to answer any and all questions that you may have. Just over look the two idjits that are inside."Letting out a low sigh before climbing out of my car, and followed him towards his house."Oh! My name is Lillian, but everyone calls me Lily. The guy that vampire killed was my husband. We had just gotten to New Orleans after getting married a few hours before that.""I hate that had happened to you. I really am. But I will teach you all that I can about what is out there and how to protect yourself. Just know this life is not an easy one nor a safe one. But just keep in mind there are very few you can trust in the way of other hunters. I can give you their names and numbers, but if you ever have to call them. Just tell them Bobby Singer told you to call them."Nodding my head as I had entered his house hoping to learn all that I could about what was out there. Along with how to protect myself. Which included training, and even going on a few hunts with him. Something about how he would feel better if I was with him than the others whom where there with him when I had arrived there.{Random Facts about me}- She was 22 years old when she had gotten started hunting.
